Data Information Services can now enable you to offer a complete
online superstore allowing your customers to identify
and purchase their heating spares from you, over the Internet.
The product can be tailored to your requirements and can
be integrated with your existing Web site. If you do not yet
have a web site, Data Information Services will design one
for you.
Data Information Services can provide you with a database
containing over 250,000 lines of heating and shower spares,
covering all major manufacturers.
The database contains the latest manufacturers trade price,
Product Codes, Gas Council Number and description.
Your customers could then search for products by the
appliance they are working on (e.g. Baxi Solo PF 40), by the
part type they are looking for (e.g. Ideal PCB, Glowworm Valve,
Chaffoteaux Electrode), or the manufacturers actual product
code.
Digital pictures of items can also be stored on the web site
against the product code, so your customer can look at the
item to ensure it is the correct one before purchasing. Please
note, the photographs must be your own, they cannot be taken
from any other source without the express permission of the
owners of that source.
The customer creates a shopping basket of spares. The basket
may be saved and accessed later. At any time it can be converted
into an order and purchased. Account type customers can order
“on account”. In this instance their order confirmation
is emailed directly to you.
On-line payments are facilitated using secure credit card
payments. When using credit cards your customer is linked
to the World Pay secure credit card processing, and the card
is validated before the order confirmation is sent. You receive
an email with the authorisation, and one with the order.
