Click to enlarge imageData Information Services can provide you with a sophisticated and yet easy to use Service Contract and Call Management package that has been designed with input from many sources, including the Housing Corporation, Housing Associations and several engineering contractors.

The package adheres to the new Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as defined by the Construction Best Practice Program (www.cbpp.org.uk).

Because we come from a stock control environment, we have made stock control an integral part of the system, rather than being a bolt on as with most other systems. We can control your stores and your van stock, and because we are controlling stock, we are able to give you accurate costings, per job, per property, per client, per engineer.

Once a job is booked, each activity against that job creates a new event, and when each new event is created, you have the opportunity to notify the clients and/or tenants of the change of status on the job.

You can record information against clients, properties and engineers, and all relevant information can be presented where appropriate when booking or allocating work.

Work can be allocated at time of booking, or it can be booked to appear on a control screen for future allocation.

Contract and repetitive work can be entered, and the job(s) will automatically appear to be allocated at a pre-determined date/time prior to the work having to be carried out. For example, the system can advise as to when a CP12 inspection is due, creating a job automatically.

Against the engineers you can record Corgi registrations, exams passed, MOT and servicing due, and many other items, and when any of these events is triggered, the user is notified when you allocate work to them. Jobs can be created if their van needs servicing as well.
